Terms of Service

Updated 8 September 2026

In short. You pay the live floor for pixels on a public canvas of 1,000. Your mark and link go up where everyone can see them. Anyone who pays the new floor can take the spot. That payment does not come back. Card numbers stay with Stripe.

What you are buying

Pickxel.io is a public canvas of 1,000 pixels. Pay the current floor and we hang your mark on those pixels, with a link to the URL you give us. You keep that spot until someone else pays to take it.

You are buying presence on this canvas. We do not promise clicks, traffic, or any result. A hung mark is not an endorsement, either way.

How the floor works

Every pixel opened at $1. The floor only moves up. You pay whatever those pixels cost now. Pay extra and that bid sticks. The next owner has to want it more than you did.

Paying the quoted amount is what claims the pixels. If the floor moved while you were checking out, we stop. Check the new price and try again.

Keeping the spot

Anyone can take pixels you hold by paying the live floor. When they do, your mark comes down and theirs goes up. You do not get a refund. Raise first if you want to stay seen.

Some pixels start as the house plot. They follow the same floor. They can be taken like any other spot.

Payment

Prices are in US dollars. Checkout runs through Stripe in this window. We never see or store full card numbers.

A completed payment is final, except where the law requires otherwise. Losing the spot later is not a reason to reverse the charge. That is how the canvas stays honest.

Your mark and link

You must have the right to hang that mark and to send people to that link. Do not point the canvas at malware, phishing, scams, or anything whose main job is to deceive.

We may refuse or take down a listing that is unlawful, infringing, or harmful to the canvas. We do not have to hang every mark. If we take one down for that reason, the floor on those pixels does not go back down.

Using the site

By using Pickxel.io, claiming pixels, or paying, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not pay and do not hang a mark.

We may update these terms. The date at the top is the version that applies. Questions go to hey@pickxel.io.
